This year, #Check22 will be the largest ever. The event will encompass a 30,000 sq ft warehouse and 2 street closures in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Porsches of all years, models and pedigrees will be on display throughout the warehouse and surrounding blocks. Specators will be able to view vintage, modern, race cars and everything in between. The common bond among these cars are the interesting stories behind them, so we encourage you to talk to their owners.
The Classic Garage from Napleton Westmont Porsche will feature cars from the Porsche Classic program, plus rare Porsches from private collections.
A silent online auction of special items donated by our partners is now live. Proceeds from the auction will benefit our charity partner, Crushers Club of Chicago. Auction winners will be announced at the event on Saturday.
#Check22 will also host the Area East cars for Porsche’s Classic Restoration Challenge. Representing the Midwest and Northeast, twenty Porsches will be on display in our warehouse space. A special Friday night preview event is being held where our special guests will be able to preview the Restoration Challenge cars before the general public. The winner will go onto Sportscar Together Fest at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the overall Challenge winner will be announced.
Great food truck options will be onsite throughout the day, including Chicago’s beloved Rainbow Cone and Chicago Lunch Box.
